Event Day Information
Below is some "at a
glance" information to help your event day run smoothly. Full details available in the Event Day Information Booklet.
Gates open 7am. Wave
times begin from 8am event day. New waves will commence every 15 minutes
thereafter until 1:00pm. Please arrive 30-45 minutes prior to your wave time
to allow time for race bib collection, baggage check in etc. However, you do not need to be at the marshalling area until 15 minutes prior to your wave starting.
Where do I go on arrival?
Please head to Light Tower 6 located between Gates 1 and 2 when you arrive. From here you will easily be able to navigate to the registration area (to collect your bib kits), marshalling area and start line.
Transport and car parking
Your best bet is public transport to the MCG. If catching a train your nearest station is Richmond.
Due to wet weather conditions in the lead up to Stadium Stomp MCG NO car parking will be available at Yarra Park for Sunday 26 June. For further information or for alternate car parking please click here
Warm-up / Marshalling Area
Please enter the marshalling area no earlier than 15 minutes before your wave time
commences. Your bib number will indicate
to us which wave time you should be in and our MC will be on load speaker to call each wave time to the marshalling area as required. Please listen out for these.
There will be exercise bikes on hand and we will have trainers on hand to conducting a quick warm up before you stomp within the Marshalling Area.
Bib and pre-purchased merchandise collection (Gate 1)
You'll need ID or your Registration Confirmation email to collect bibs and purchased t-shirts.
Pre-event bib collection will be available at the Ticketing window nearest the
Hugh Trumble Café located between gates 1 and 2 at the MCG on:
- Event Day
- Pre-event day pick ups available at: Thursday 23 June 3pm - 7pm & Friday 24 June 10am - 2pm
Collecting a bib for a friend?
Multiple bib collection will only be permitted
with the expressed written consent of the non-collecting participant(s). This can be done though email, SMS or some other identifying factor which clearly displays the origin of the message to include the participants name. You can speed things up by knowing your bib numbers.

also be available for collection by the above means. T-shirts are not being

Massage will be available for participants post stomp in the Massage Room (located within the players change rooms at the

family and friends are welcome to wander through the event day Expo located
inside Gate 1.
event photographs will be taken by Super Sport Images on the course and at the
finish line. These will be available for purchase post event via their
website (www.supersportimages.com). Allow two days post event for these to become available.
The Hugh Trumble cafe near the marshalling area will be open to purchase food and beverages within the MCG.
