Stadium Stomp Eden Park Postponed
Coronavirus COVID-19 Statement as at 16 March, 2020.
Like everyone else we have been closely monitoring the uncertainty surrounding COVID-19 and the impact it is going to have on events.
As you can appreciate the current situation is changing incredibly fast.
Over the weekend both the New Zealand and Australian Government have made a directive for travellers entering these countries to self-isolate for 14 days. With the Stadium Stomp team based in Melbourne, the ability for us to travel at this time is untenable.
With the above directive in mind and out of an abundance of caution and concern for the safety of participants, volunteers, partners and staff, Stadium Stomp has made the difficult decision to postpone the event at Eden Park scheduled for Saturday 4 April.
This was a heartbreaking decision to make however the safety and protection of the Stadium Stomp community remains our priority. We ask that ticketholders retain their tickets as they will be honoured on the new date.
We, like many families and small businesses in both Australia and New Zealand, understand that we are far from alone in dealing with the current challenges presented by the virus.
For some this will be the ‘ultimate challenge’. Rest assured that we’ll be doing everything possible to stay positive and to bring you Stadium Stomp in 2020.
Thank you for your understanding and patience over the coming days and weeks as we navigate through this unprecedented landscape and work with both Eden Park and our charity partner, Leukaemia & Blood Cancer New Zealand, to ascertain a new date.
Stay well,
The Stadium Stomp Team
